Products (General)
We have done a lot of research on going organic, and unfortunately it is almost impossible. Wild ginseng is the
only organic ginseng out there and it sells for about $800 per pound.
Our product is about as close to organic as cultivated Wisconsin Ginseng can get. Only a few pesticides are used
that are specifically labeled for ginseng and approved by both USDA and EPA. Our Wisconsin Ginseng Capsules
are 100% pure Wisconsin Ginseng. With that being said, no other ingredients are added to these capsules. The
capsule itself is a veggie capsule and has no additives, binders, or fillers.
The capsules are made of 100% Pure Wisconsin American Ginseng root which is then ground up and encased in
a veggie capsule. The roots chosen have at least a 5% ginsenoside level, the level used in the Mayo Clinic study.
All manufacturing is completed within the United States.
American Ginseng (Panax Quinquefolius) is a cooling (white) ginseng which allows you to take the ginseng
continuously. In fact, we have customers who have been taking American Ginseng daily for 30+ years due to
this. There often is confusion regarding this as Panax Ginseng (Korean/Asian Ginseng) is a warming (red) ginseng
of which cannot be taken continuously for long periods of time.
The GHC works with many clinics across the country and has not heard of any major side effects, likely since it is
a completely natural product with no additives, binders, or fillers. Just like with taking any supplement or
vitamin, however, we do recommend that you take it with food. If you have any concerns, we recommend
consulting with your doctor prior to trying it.
Most customers begin to see the results after 10 days of continuous use; however, it can take less or more time
depending on the individual.
All GHC products have a three-year shelf life; however, other companies in the industry typically use a five-year
shelf life. Keeping the roots in a cool dry environment increases the shelf life.
Every batch of capsules are tested to ensure the active ingredient (Ginsenosides) meets or exceeds the product
used in the Mayo Clinic Study of which had 5% Ginsenosides. With that being said, these capsules have greater
than 5% Ginsenoside levels.
We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, enter a contest or sweepstakes, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or participate in another site feature. When ordering or registering, we may ask you for your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information or other information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. We also collect information about gift recipients so that we can fulfill the gift purchase. The information we collect about gift recipients is not used for marketing purposes. Like many websites, we use “cookies” to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Products (Capsules)
The color often times varies based on the lot of roots used. Each lot of roots vary in color. The color of the root
has no reflection on the active ingredient, ginsenosides, in the root. Because we meet all USDA and FDA
regulations, we have put our ginseng through a heat treatment to lower the Micro’s and Coliform that can exist
in ginseng. Begin a cooperative with the availability to select from many lots, this lot is one of the best. It is
clean, pure, and higher in ginsenosides (at least 5%). Since being the study of a recent Mayo Clinic trial, we take
pride in ensuring every batch meets or exceeds the product that was used in the study.
The amount used in the Mayo Clinic study was two capsules (1,000mg) in the morning and two in the mid-
afternoon (1,000mg). With 60 capsules per bottle, a single bottle will be about a 2-week supply. Some people
take more, and some people take fewer. If you have any concerns about dosage, please contact your doctor.
Our capsules are already pre-measured into 500mg capsules. The mayo clinic study that was done on our product recommended cancer patients take 2,000mg daily (1,000mg in the morning and 1,000mg mid- afternoon). Capsules are a great option for those who do not mind swallowing supplements. They are quick and easy.
Our powder is the best value, as each bottle of powder is equivalent to about 7.5 bottles of capsules (60 ct bottles). The recommended 2,000mg would be equivalent to 1 tsp of powder daily. This is great for those who prefer not to swallow supplements. Many cancer patients will add this to foods such as their applesauce, yogurt or smoothies.

in the morning, 1,000 mg mid-day); however, on occasion it can take individuals longer to feel the full effects.
We recommend that you continue taking the recommended dosage, as the study that was done (through Mayo
Clinic) was an 8-week study. You may also want to check with your doctor, as sometimes they will have
recommendations on spacing out all supplements to receive the best absorbency, especially if you are going
through treatments.
The recommended dosage, based on the Mayo Clinic study, is 2,000mg per day. This is equivalent to two
capsules in the morning and two capsules in the mid-afternoon to prevent any sleep disruption. It’s not
uncommon for people to take different dosages based on their needs. Some will only take one capsule twice a
day, while others take three capsules twice a day to achieve their ideal results. As always with starting any new
supplement, you can always reach out to your doctor for any questions regarding specific dosages for your
personal needs.
If the capsules prove difficult to consume, you can always open them up by pulling them apart and adding them
to soft foods such as yogurt, applesauce, and smoothies.

Products (Roots)
***Any roots can be sliced; however, the shorts are easiest to slice***
1. Soak the roots in cold water for 1-2 minutes
2. Place on a baking sheet, spreading the roots in a single layer, without touching each other
3. Bake in the oven at 350 F for 9-12 minutes (depending upon root size)
a. If the root color starts to get orangey, they are over toasted – remove from oven immediately
4. Slice immediately with a sharp kitchen knife
5. Allow to completely cool before storing
a. Storing when hot can cause moisture and produce mold

We can certainly do this; however, when sending Ginseng Roots internationally there is $250 worth of paperwork
needed (plus shipping) to clear customs successfully. This is a standard fee regardless of how much is purchased. In
other words, if you purchase ½ lb or 30,000 lbs, the same $250 fee applies.
Typically, those who are purchasing small quantities will take an alternative route. If you or a friend/family member are
planning to travel, you are typically allowed to take up to 10 pounds with you on the plane without needing the
paperwork to clear customs. This can save you quite a bit of money if you are planning to travel to your desired
destination anyways. You would save on not only paperwork, but also the international shipping.

Wholesale (Lots)
The fragments you are referring to are called prongs and can break off the root during shipment. All roots are put
through a hammermill to defiber prior to being barreled. If you had received fiber, it would be a separate bag of the
hair-like product because they are not mixed with any of our whole roots.
All samples will be charged at $128 per pound (our retail pricing) as we have a 100 lb minimum purchase requirement. If you purchase a sample of any given lot (at $128), and end up purchasing at least 100 lbs of that specific lot, you would be credited the difference at the time of the sale. For example, if you purchased a 1 pound sample of LOT 2210 for $128 and later decided to move forward with purchasing 100+ pounds of that same lot (2210) at $30/lb, we would give them a credit for $98 for that one pound.
